Happy Suite Boutique Hotel

The owner is kind, and that's what makes this so hard to write. I feel deeply sorry for him, watching a decent person try to run a place that's falling apart and should have been condemned years ago. Still, his kindness doesn't change the health risks I experienced, and future guests deserve to know. I felt completely unsafe because the doors, including the main doors, wouldn't close. The bathroom was awful: there was no toilet flush button, just an open hole, the shower head was broken, and there was almost no water pressure, so washing properly was impossible. Black mold around the AC unit and peeling ceiling plaster made the air feel unsafe to breathe. There were also holes in the walls and exposed pipes everywhere. I feel for the owner, but even more for anyone paying to sleep in these conditions. Please don't stay here for your health and safety.

The location is amazing, only 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, and our upgraded room had a sea view. Sitting there with homemade breakfast looking out at the sea was such a vibe. The rooms aren't fancy, but they have all the necessities. We're staying here now, and Ahmet is the sweetest, kindest host. He makes us delicious breakfast every morning, and his warmth has made our time in Istanbul so amazing.

The owner made us feel welcome and was very kind. The hotel is lovely, with a kitchen, and everything was clean and comfortable. We also really liked the breakfast. It's in an excellent location, close to everything. I highly recommend it.

Ahmet is such a kind, genuine host and takes good care of everyone, making sure your needs are met. The room was good too, with a working shower and good air conditioning. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, 10/10 from me!
