We discovered that someone had entered our apartment and stolen a DSLR camera, a smartwatch, cash, and jewelry. The hotel manager tried to cover it up and showed no respect. When we tried to call the police, the owner wouldn’t let us. The police came three days later and said we should have called sooner. I believe the hotel staff were involved and tried to stop us reporting it. The area is very poor, and Bashir was completely disrespectful.

The apartment hotel is okay, and Sebastian, who used to look after the place, was great. But after he left on 02 July, we stayed another six days and could hardly find anyone to ask a question.

The staff were really friendly, and the price was good, breakfast included and of decent quality.

As of 09.09.2022, I want to warn people about staying in this apartment. We spent 5 nights here, and they first wanted to charge us $250. After we complained about how disgusting the living conditions were, the owner reduced it to $170 for 5 nights. Booking wasn’t working in Turkey during our trip, and we may not have had another hotel option, so we had to accept this one. The mattress was comfortable, but the rest was awful. The floor was dirty, so we wore slippers, and there was dirt and dust everywhere. The shower was filthy, with hair on the floor, and there was no hot water at the sink or toilet paper. The kitchen was so bad I didn’t even want to look at it. The TV wasn’t connected, the lighting was like a basement, and the window looked out onto trash. Breakfast was supposedly included at a nearby hotel, but nobody could tell us which one. We thought we’d agreed with the owner to leave at 14:00 instead of 12:00, then he demanded $30 for those two hours. In the end, I got $10 and left a bad review because of his greed. I strongly advise against staying in these “apartments”!
