The neighborhood had a great vibe, with good food all around, and I hope to stay here again. Mustafa was warm and welcoming, offered useful tips, helped when needed, and gave us space. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had the basics. There are quite a lot of stairs, which may be a problem for some. It’s above a club in a lively nightlife area, so there’s noise at night, though earplugs blocked it out for us.

This clean, modern hostel feels more like a comfortable apartment with private rooms. The shared bathrooms were up to the standard of a private home, and there was a very nice kitchen and common area, plus a cozy open-air pub at street level. The ferry terminal is a five-minute walk away. Excellent overall.

The owner was lovely, and the place felt cozy and nice. Our room and bathroom stayed clean. There was some noise from the club downstairs, but I still slept fine. I’d happily come back.

A good spot for darts, with drinks and lunch available while you play. The hosts were friendly, and the busy neighborhood has plenty of shops and restaurants. It also makes for a nice trip over to Istanbul’s Asian side. Recommended.

We had an amazing time at Bahane Hostel. It’s small, comfy, really clean, and the service was good. The stylish furniture and great location were a plus. The only little hassle was carrying heavy bags up the stairs. I’d definitely recommend Kadıköy :)
