The staff were great, and the rooftop view of Sultanahmet at night, with Hagia Sophia nearby, was lovely. But the food was disappointing. I ordered the chef-recommended fish, maybe bass, with fresh vegetables and a side of cooked vegetables. It took about 20-25 minutes to arrive, and it wasn’t very hot. The cooked vegetables tasted good but were oddly stone cold, while the fish cooled quickly too. Its taste was better, and the serving was just okay. I’ve had fish at many places in Istanbul and Prince's Island, so I’d look elsewhere for fish. This review is only about the rooftop restaurant, where I went for dinner.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just stopped by the rooftop restaurant for a bite. The view was incredible, the service was great, and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our meal, and I’d recommend the restaurant for both its food and service.

The rooftop restaurant has a gorgeous view, though service can be slow. We waited almost an hour even though only two tables were occupied. The hotel is in a perfect spot near the city’s main sights, and the local service was good. Breakfast was tasty, and airport transfers are offered.

We ate at the hotel’s fish restaurant, and it was the worst one in Istanbul. The fish smelled bad and seemed spoiled. The staff refused to replace it, saying that this was normal for fresh sole fish.
