The staff were attentive and kind. They don't really speak English, but they do try, and the service feels warm. My room had the basics, including soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, and even an individual small bed. The water was very hot, which felt great after long walks around town. It's easy to walk to the Spice Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, so sightseeing doesn't require much transport. The hotel itself is pretty plain, with no real atmosphere or charm, and the views are just the neighborhood, nothing pretty. I'd call it more of a one or two star place. It's functional and fairly well located, though, and does the job for a couple of days if you just need the basics. Don't expect much comfort or a view. If this review was helpful, leave me a 💛 to keep me motivated.

The staff were helpful and really friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable in a great location. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The room was small, but cozy, and the staff at Global Hotel were so attentive and helpful. For the view, I'd suggest a balcony room on one of the higher floors, facing the beautiful church. The rooftop terrace is also worth using, it has great views. The bathroom started smelling a little damp after the first day because of some irrigation problems. We were only staying two days, so it didn't bother us much. The location is great for reaching the major tourist sights on the European side.
