I felt the neighborhood was very dangerous. Going there, especially at night, could definitely get you into trouble.

I only visited the hotel, but I hope I get to stay there one day. It was clean and orderly, and the owner was a really kind, helpful guy. People of Uzbekistani origin often stay there. There’s a Thursday market right outside with a good variety of fresh food. I’d recommend giving a smaller hotel a try for a different kind of experience.
