Hotel Princess Old City

The website photos don’t match reality. Breakfast was poor, with almost no variety and low-quality options. The room and bathroom were filthy, there was mold in the bathroom, and cockroaches. Every socket was hanging loose with its wires exposed. Water pressure was just right.

The only things I liked were the room service and the good breakfast, but that’s not much. The room at princess old city was tiny, shabby, and full of old, used things. The fridge, air conditioner, lamps, and kettle didn’t work. Wi-Fi was only available at reception and wouldn’t work in the room. The bathroom wasn’t suitable, with water leaking everywhere. When we called reception, no one answered. The price online was completely different from what we were charged at the hotel. It was not comfortable at all, and I’d tell anyone coming to Istanbul to avoid this place.

The staff were all so friendly, and there are restaurants, shops, and plenty to do nearby, so you won’t get bored. The train and bus are just across the street. I stayed about ten days and really liked it. The rooms were clean, with queen beds and air conditioning. Breakfast, massage, drinks of all kinds, and hookah were available too. If I return to Istanbul or Fatih, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The breakfast upstairs was good, and the views from there were beautiful. The hotel is well placed, close to most things, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Ahmed was especially nice.
