The hotel canceled our reservation this morning, only a few days before New Year's, even though we'd updated our card details two days ago within the 24 hours they gave us. Payment was meant to be made at the hotel, but they still asked for the card update. There was no real explanation for the cancellation. It's stressful to have accommodation disappear so close to the holiday, especially after doing everything Booking.com and the hotel asked. We travel often and have stayed in many places across Europe and elsewhere, but have never had this happen. We can't understand why they handle reservations this way. Friends who'd stayed here and recommended it were surprised too, and said they'll leave negative reviews. Very disappointing and unprofessional, with little respect for guests.

The breakfast was good and filling enough to last until lunch, and the main landmarks are only about a 5-15 minute walk away. We've stayed here before and keep finding the price and quality a great match. The rooms are comfortable, with lovely views from the French balconies, and the beds are genuinely comfortable, even for someone picky about them. The staff are lovely, and you get what you need, including a kettle, hair dryer, shampoo and AC. Thanks to the owner for keeping the hotel well maintained. We'll be back for sure! 🇹🇷❤️🇷🇺

It's a simple place, but good value and perfectly adequate, with helpful staff. The location is fantastic for walking to lots of sights and a tram stop. Breakfast was nice, and the view from the breakfast room is amazing. Rooms are clean, and the shower is great. Don't let the easy-to-miss entrance put you off: it's steep, though there's a lift up to the rooms. I'd recommend it to anyone fit enough to handle steep slopes and cobbled streets.

Breakfast on the terrace, with that amazing view, was a real highlight. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed. Our room was tidy and very clean, and the shower was excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much. Thanks, and we hope to come back!

The staff and owner are super kind, and the hotel is in a very good location. Rooms are small, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is a drawback: the eating area is small and there is almost no food selection. The walls are thin too, so you can hear everything. Apart from those issues, it's a good place to stay.
