I stayed on my own for two weeks and had a very good experience. As a woman traveling alone, feeling safe was the most important thing for me. Reception was staffed 24/7, and the team were always friendly and ready to answer questions. The street is lively, with bars open late, but that made the place feel cozy and welcoming. My room was comfortable, big enough for one person even with two suitcases, and well equipped. Everything worked well. It was a bit noisy, though it wasn’t a problem for me since I slept with earplugs. I do think the bathroom will need renovation, updating, or a deep clean in about six months. Thank you!

The room was small but comfortable, with a good TV, and it was especially lucky to find this place over New Year. Other guests had said the hosts were kind and the location blissfully quiet yet convenient, and I appreciated that. He gave me a quick guided walk through the tiny streets and restaurants, showing me both the main avenue, Istiklal, and a fine locals’ lokantasi, Helvetia. He also found me a plug adapter and promised a hot water pot. Thanks, guys!

Right in the heart of the city, so the location is perfect. The rooms are clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Administrator Salat was very responsive, and I appreciate his friendliness. I’m not giving the hotel one star only because of him, though I can’t recommend staying here. The walls are thin, so you hear neighbors’ hair dryers and conversations. Nearby beer pubs play music and make noise all night. Once you realize that, you can’t move out because the booking payment isn’t refundable. The administrator on the morning of 23.03 was rude to us. We’d booked in dollars, but he insisted we pay in lira at a low rate. After paying, we asked him to return the money so we could pay in dollars. He said he had no change for $100 and was going to call the police. Calling the police over that was crazy, and that kind of communication is shameful.
