After three sleepless nights on the road, we got back from an evening walk and found a terrible urine smell in the apartment. We eventually traced it to huge urine stains on the mattress. The furniture was extremely worn, and it looked like nobody had cleaned the place in months, but we had put up with that until then. We contacted Airbnb support to ask about leaving with a full refund or moving to another room. Within five minutes, the owner came in and said, “You want to check out? Check out!” He charged us for one night, then left us out on an empty, dark street at 10 p.m. He didn't apologize, offer a solution, or show any empathy. I had the worst panic attack I've ever experienced, and we ended up walking the steep streets with heavy luggage, trying to find somewhere else. There was also a natural gas smell in the corridor. I wouldn't be surprised if this wonderful suite explodes one day. Maybe the other rooms are better, since we chose the apartment based on good reviews, but I'd personally avoid the place completely.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and well furnished, with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping kept it clean throughout my stay, and I liked the attention to detail in the design. The staff were welcoming and attentive right from arrival, making check-in smooth. Marida Hotel is right in the heart of Taksim in Beyoğlu, with restaurants, attractions, and lively streets nearby. Public transportation is close too, so it was easy to get around Istanbul. I had a fantastic stay, it exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for leisure or business. I'll definitely return on my next trip. Thank you so much.

For a simple overnight stay, I thought it was worth the price. The room was cool despite the hot weather outside, and there was air conditioning. I didn't use the kitchen, and the shower was fine, though small. It's not a suite or anything luxurious. The room was clean and white, but had some scuffs, and the furniture and appliances showed wear. That didn't bother me since I was out exploring during the day and only came back in the evening. If you expect to spend a lot of time relaxing in your room, you'd be better off looking at pricier options.
