A family-friendly hotel with a beautiful sea view and nice staff.

The aircon didn’t work, and that was the big problem. After trying to sleep, I went down early in the morning to ask the front desk if they had another room. They said no, and he brought me a fan. I had a horrible night’s sleep and had to get up to take cold showers. In the morning, Yarson at the front desk said they had had a room available the night before, but it cost more. He barely apologized and just asked whether we’d like to move to the pricier room. He offered a 500 TL discount from the 3000 only after we asked, then eventually offered 1000 TL. He seemed to think we were just trying to get a discount. I couldn’t get a manager’s number. Super weird. My first bad review. The room was nice and in a great location. It wasn’t the cleanest, but I could overlook that. Don’t stay here, especially not in room 204. Just don’t stay.

For our last night in Turkey, the experience was awful. The 3000 Lira deluxe room had broken AC in the middle of summer, and it was nearly 30 degrees in the middle of the night. All the staff could offer was a fan, so we barely slept. In the morning, we found out there had been another room available, but they hadn’t offered it to us. They offered just a 1000 lira discount, after initially offering only 500, and we had to argue for it.
