Miran Hotel

For exploring the Old City and its historical sites, the location is perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and polite.

The location worked well for the tram, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar. The rooms felt a bit outdated, but being close to everything made up for that. Check-in was smooth, and the man at reception was really nice. We told a different receptionist the day before checkout that we'd leave at 5pm for a late-night flight. Our airport transfer was already arranged through the holiday package I'd paid for. He was fine with that and said to return the key and tell reception when we were leaving. At checkout, the man who'd checked us in was at the desk, and he made us feel very uncomfortable. He was angry that we were leaving early and that we hadn't booked the transfer through him. He kept telling me to call the company to cancel it and asking which company we'd used. Soon after, the person who organized our trip called to say the receptionist had contacted our transfer company and said I wanted to cancel. I don't know how he found out which company it was. The whole thing made us really uncomfortable and ruined our stay. We ended up waiting outside with all our luggage and couldn't wait to leave.

Helpful staff and a good location near the sights and tram station. The rooms are small but cozy, so it was decent value for money. Breakfast was poor. The sheets and towels were torn, and the mirror was broken. They tidied the room every morning but didn't change the sheets.

The location is convenient, close to T1 and all the sights, but there are plenty of better hotels nearby and I wouldn't return. Our room was extremely small, and breakfast was a disgrace for Turkey, just tragic. The person who greeted us was sour and angry, maybe at himself.
