Modern Sultan Hotel

The room was on the small side, but clean and had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was tasty, and Turkish tea and coffee were available at all times. The staff were very friendly and happy to suggest places and restaurants for a good Turkish experience. The hotel sits where a few small, quiet streets meet in Sultanahmet. Many attractions are close by, including Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, and the Bosfor shore. Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar are within walking distance, and the tram nearby is handy for getting to places farther away.

We liked everything and would come back. Moreno was always available and helped us with a few questions, and all the hotel staff were very friendly. It’s a small, cozy, authentic hotel in an excellent location, with the main attractions a short walk away. The Suit Room has a wonderful view of Hagia Sophia.

Step outside and there’s a unique view of Hagia Sophia, perfect for photos. The hotel’s location is amazing, the rooms lovely and clean, and breakfast delicious. We had a wonderful experience. Thanks to the staff for being so kind.

The hotel is only good for its location. My husband and I stayed four nights, and the rooms were extremely small. Housekeeping never came to check the room, even though I asked repeatedly. The person serving breakfast stayed on the phone, talking loudly on speaker. On our third day there was nobody in the kitchen, so guests had to look for plates themselves. A big thank you to FATHI, though. He did his best to make up for the gaps left by his colleagues. Thank you, Fathi!
