The manager and front desk team were so friendly and helpful. They arranged our taxis and takeaway orders, which we appreciated since ordering delivery required a Turkish phone number for Uber Eats or a local app. The mall is less than 10 minutes away by cab, and it’s big with lots of restaurants. We didn’t take the train, so I can’t speak from experience, though I was told it’s straightforward to use. My daughter and I stayed at the Monezza Maltepe Rezidans for a week in February 2026. The room was spacious, clean, and cosy, with two comfortable beds a little wider than UK singles. It faced a highway, though, and traffic noise was bothersome at times, especially with the window open for air. The bathroom sink taps were a bit rusty, which made us worry that rust might get into the water while brushing our teeth. Even with those issues, it felt like a home away from home, and we’d definitely stay again.

For what we paid, this room wasn’t worth it. Booking listed it as 25 square meters, as shown in my attached screenshot, but the evacuation plan puts it at 12, with 9 for the room and 3 for the bathroom. Two people had almost no room to move. We couldn’t open the fridge without shifting the bench, and there was only one bench, so sitting together at the table wasn’t possible. We arrived tired at 10 PM and only needed the room for one night, so we didn’t go to reception to ask for another room. Looking back, maybe we should have. The metro is conveniently close, and the room itself was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had hot water.

Clean room, good WiFi, friendly staff, and the metro and shops are nearby. There were even a couple of friendly cats hanging around. Good value, with everything you could want at an affordable price.

We stayed for one night last year, and the big balcony was what we were most curious about. It’s lovely for tea at night and for Instagram pictures. The bed was roomy and comfortable, and we had a really pleasant night. I only know the location from having gone to my old middle school nearby, so I know this street can get noisy. We’d like to come back next year. ♥️
