The location is the one real plus, and the receptionist who checked us in was kind. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures, with old, damaged furniture and poor hygiene. We found bedbugs on the bed, stained pillowcases, and sheets that weren’t changed for five days. Apparently you have to ask the housekeeper to clean them, which I’ve never had to do at a hotel. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and the café and restaurant looked dated, small, and unhygienic. I couldn’t see a working kitchen either. This place is advertised as feeling like home, but it didn’t feel that way at all. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I stayed here for almost three weeks and had a very nice, quiet stay. The rooms are large and stylish, especially for this price, and there’s room for a family. The hotel also seems to protect its reputation by not letting in people who might make noise or cause trouble. I’d highly recommend it.

The place was clean and well located, but I’m giving it 3 out of 5 because management seemed mean with the basics. For three people staying two nights, we got just two tea bags for two cups. The coffee packet was old and there was no sugar. We had only one toilet roll, and when we asked for another, they gave us one. The heating also wasn’t enough around midnight when it was at or below 0.

The bed is far too short for anyone around 180 cm or taller, so you end up lying sideways. The rooms have very poor soundproofing from inside, and you can hear everything staff say downstairs. Apart from that, it’s a great hotel with friendly staff and a convenient location. Recommended.
