Orient Mintur Hotel

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the lobby looked beautiful with handmade artifacts on display. Our room was very clean and had air conditioning, coffee and tea, a refrigerator, a safe, and a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and hair dryer. The TV had hundreds of channels. I found two in English, channel 26 or 28 and one in the 40s, showing world news. There may have been more, but I stopped looking. There are elevators and a free buffet breakfast each morning in a beautiful dining area. Smoking isn’t allowed inside, though there’s an outdoor smoking area. The location is convenient for shops and cafes, and we were able to park there. It’s a six-minute drive to the boat tours, or about a 25-minute walk. There’s also a rooftop view, but it isn’t a proper lounge or protected area, so children shouldn’t go up. I don’t like heights, so I skipped it. They can arrange tours at a discounted rate. I’d highly recommend the hotel, and if I return to Istanbul, I’ll stay nowhere else.

Everything’s within walking distance, and the location is top notch. Top hotel. Don’t bother looking elsewhere, this is the place.

I stayed about five nights and had a fantastic time. The room was really big, and they cleaned it after I left. I’m Indonesian, so the breakfast wasn’t my favorite.

The service and location were top notch, and for the price, this was very good. Our room was a little old and beat up, though fairly clean. We had a nice balcony and view. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and I loved that there was a coffee machine. I’d seen reviews mention noise, but we had no issue with that. It was a comfortable, relaxing place to stay for a few nights while seeing the city.
