Ottomanzade Hotel

The staff were friendly, and the location was decent, about a 15-minute walk to the city center. But the room smelled like someone had smoked a whole pack of cigarettes in it. Cleaning needs a serious improvement, especially in the bathroom, where there was mold everywhere. Hygiene and breakfast were poor.

A budget hotel right in the middle of things, with complimentary continental breakfast to get your day in Istanbul started. Dimbil Restaurant is a five-minute walk away for affordable, authentic Turkish food, and the Grand Bazaar is ten minutes on foot for gifts. Thanks for having us, we'll be back!

Furkan was a big help with maps and tips on places to visit, especially for tourists. I stayed with my family for five days, and we were really happy with the breakfast, staff, and room cleaning. I'd recommend it to anyone. You can feel at ease staying here on a trip to Istanbul.

We booked a few nights, but left without getting any money back. The prices were ridiculously high for what you get, and even one night felt like too much for this dirty place. We paid extra to move to a supposedly quieter room, but it was just as disgusting. The rooms were dirty, full of spiders and other insects, and smelled horrible. There was smoke everywhere because, according to what I saw, all the employees were smoking in the hotel. The area was extremely noisy and the neighborhood was filthy. Don't stay here. It felt like a total scam, and I suspect the reviews may be fake.
