Rexee Hotel

The staff made my stay at Rexee Hotel especially good. Everyone was professional, kind, and helpful. Parsa and Saman went above and beyond at check-in and during my stay. They could help in English, Turkish, and Persian, which made communication easy. I could always ask them about directions, shops nearby, transport, or local tips. The Iranian owner was personally kind, attentive, and supportive too, and her care for guests shows in the atmosphere and service. I spent about two weeks there between January and February 2026, on a trip that mixed work and leisure. I was alone for around 8 days in a single room, then shared a deluxe room with my mother for 4 days. Both rooms were clean and well maintained. The single room was completely quiet, which was great for rest and focused work. The deluxe room had some ordinary city noise, but it didn't disturb our sleep. The hotel is very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, with an easy, comfortable walk, and the area felt safe throughout. The internet was fast, stable, and reliable for daily remote work and online meetings, with no interruptions. For the service, location, comfort, and facilities, the value is very high. It was my first time in Istanbul, and I’d choose Rexee Hotel again. I’d recommend it to business travelers, couples, and people traveling alone.

The staff were the highlight at Rexee Hotel, always friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The location is convenient, and the price is good value. Breakfast was very good, with what you need to start the day, and the free coffee was a nice extra. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend it as a comfortable, affordable option.

The area was noisy, with drunk people shouting through the night, and this ended up being my worst stay in Istanbul. I strongly advise international travelers to be careful, because serious problems or a scam could happen and ruin your trip. We had booked directly for 4 children and 2 adults, and had already paid part of the cost. When we arrived, staff said they couldn't see our reservation. They didn't apologize, just suggested we wait while they “cleaned a room.” We had booked two large rooms but were offered three standard ones instead. Since the children are minors and couldn't stay separately, three people had to share one bed. A young Iranian staff member tried to help and admitted we were right, but the owner was very rude and nearly confrontational. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

I saw the conditions firsthand during a period of time at this hotel. Hygiene and service were extremely poor. There were rats in the kitchen, and breakfast food from the day before was kept in a very dirty, unsafe kitchen, even if it looked fresh. The rooms weren't cleaned properly either. The shower water was cold and power cuts happened often. Two staff members were working illegally and could be arrested by police if they went outside. Most guests were very unhappy. I don't recommend this hotel, especially for families. Guest health, safety, and satisfaction clearly aren't priorities here. Strongly not recommended.
