Rixos Pera Istanbul + Nickelodeon Play Tersane Access

The spa was lovely, and the staff were genuinely kind. The rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere felt right. I did have two small concerns: the website gives the impression there’s a pool, but there isn’t one, and after talking with a guest who uses a wheelchair, it was clear that accessibility falls short of what you’d expect at a hotel of this standard. Portable ramps at a few spots could help. Still, it’s a great hotel and I’d come back.

The team were welcoming and attentive throughout, and the rooms were comfortable and well kept. Some had lovely views, particularly toward the Golden Horn. Rixos Pera Istanbul has a classic look that suits the Pera district, with an elegant but comfortable feel. Its location is a real plus: Istiklal Street and many of Istanbul’s main sights are easy to reach, and the neighborhood is lively. I had a very enjoyable stay and found it a refined, convenient choice for exploring the city.

My first day was largely spent trying to sort out a problem with two reservations under the same name and dates. I felt the reception team at Rixos Pera Istanbul showed little flexibility or understanding, and didn’t make much effort to find a reasonable solution. The way the issue was handled left me stressed rather than welcomed. The hotel itself may be nice, but a stay depends on how guests are treated when something goes wrong, and the customer service was extremely disappointing.

Sema was friendly, hardworking, and very thorough throughout our stay. The cleaning was up to a very high standard every day. She really deserves recognition for the care she put into her service.
