Sahra Airport Hotel

Even the door was broken. To get it to close, I had to put the card in the middle so the lock could slide over it and latch 🙄. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it had a strong tobacco smell 😳. I spent the whole day out because of it and had to wear a mask to sleep. I wouldn't pay $5 for this place. The staff are the only good thing about the hotel. It needs major remodeling. My advice is to find another hotel.

We spent three nights here as a family. The hotel was quiet even during the day, and we didn't hear planes since the airport has been closed for a year now. Our room had a small fridge, the water was pleasantly warm, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly and smiley. For what it costs, it's a nice place.

The friendly staff made a difference, especially Merdan at reception, whose warm manner is why I'm leaving out a couple of other complaints. The location worked well, with shops and restaurants nearby. But over my 12-night stay, there were real problems: smoke smell in the room was so heavy on the first night that I couldn't breathe, and the rooms aren't soundproof, so there was noise all night. If you're on a tight budget, it may still suit you.

We got a room right away at a good price, and it looked like the pictures. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, and the TV service was very good. The service was good, though not excellent. There are some things that need updating: the air conditioner leaked onto the carpet, and while I was sleeping I saw what looked like bed mites crawling around.
