The room was spacious, but that was about the only good part. The bed was broken and noisy, the ventilation didn’t work properly, the TV wouldn’t turn on, and the breakfast was very ordinary and small. We spent two nights here and barely slept. It wasn’t worth the price, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Its one advantage is being near Istiklal street and Taksim Square. The night before, we stayed in a comfortable, very good hotel in Sultan Ahmed (Fatih) District, close to sightseeing centers. I’d suggest looking at other hotels, even in Fatih District. This District itself was very stylish and European.

The rooms are miserable, as you can see from the picture of mine. There’s also a payment problem that still hasn’t been sorted out. Booking charged a prepayment to my card before check-in, and I paid cash at the hotel. The owner acknowledged the card charge and promised in July to refund it, but two months later the money still hadn’t come back.

We stayed for a week and had to ask for towels and sheets every day. They said they were too busy, and no cleaners came. The place was disgusting, and so were the staff. They also wouldn’t let me drink my own beer on the patio, saying I had to buy alcohol from them at five times the price. Don’t stay here.

The price felt quite fair for such a cosy, chic hotel. It’s in an exceptional spot near the city center, shopping malls, bars and night clubs. The staff are polite, friendly and ready to help. A great stay.
