We couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay, and my wife and I would gladly return when we visit Istanbul. The hotel was very modern and clean, with everything we needed within walking distance, including Aysa Sofia. Breakfast was amazing, with slightly different options and nice desserts every day. Emre at the lobby and reception was polite, helpful, and always there when we needed him. He also spoke English very well.

The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff there were incredibly kind and accommodating. Since I’m lactose intolerant, they brought lactose-free milk each morning and remembered without me having to ask. I really appreciated that. Hakki was also very helpful and nice whenever we had questions, especially when we ran into a problem with our room. The hotel is clean and well placed on a quiet side street near lots of tourist spots, the tram, and the metro. Sultanahmet square is about a 15-minute walk, and the Grand Bazaar is close too. Our economy room was small, but perfectly fine for somewhere to come back and rest.

The rooms were clean and nice, and breakfast was good and filling. Huseyin and Rassoul gave great service and paid close attention to the details. One problem was the doors. They’re very noisy, and I could hear guests leaving and slamming them, which woke me up at night. Please look into that. Thanks.

We had the Deluxe King Room with Balcony, and it was absolutely stunning. After 15 years of visiting Istanbul and trying different hotels, this one felt like a five-star-plus experience, with no regrets. The place sparkled and smelled fresh and clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We were greeted with warm smiles and lots of help with our luggage, and we had plenty of it. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with fresh, flavorful food ranging from traditional Turkish choices to international favorites, all beautifully presented. Many thanks to Manager Suzan, Receptionist Hakki, Umar, Eyup, Nuri, Reem, Huseyin, Murat, and all the other lovely people we met. The chefs were great, every one of them, and we’re grateful to the kitchen team, Burcu and Raha, room service, and everyone behind the scenes for making us feel at home and giving us such a memorable stay. Keep up the fantastic work!

The team made our stay at The Edition Old City so memorable. Suzy and Ayoub surprised me with a delicious birthday cake, and everyone was kind and attentive. The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and warm and welcoming. Everything from the room to the service was perfect. I’ll definitely be back!
