I really enjoyed staying at Side Hotel, and we’ll come again soon. It’s a hidden gem, very close to the 2 big mosques and public transport, but tucked away from nightlife and street traffic. The morning, afternoon, and evening staff were so welcoming and hospitable, and the kitchen staff were lovely to be around too. Thanks for making our stay beautiful. What makes the hotel stand out is its family, home atmosphere.

I picked this place as a solo Muslim traveler because it was close to the 2 mosques and wasn’t a nightclub or bar serving alcohol. The location was great, and the staff were the warmest and most receptive people I’ve met, helping me figure out where to eat and what to visit. Breakfast was amazing too. The hotel itself is old, but every other aspect more than makes up for that. It’s absolutely clean. It didn’t disappoint, and I’d 100% come back.

The location is hard to beat for exploring Istanbul. It’s a 2 minute walk from the IST Airport Shuttle Bus last stop, and about 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Tram station. The hotel is old, but it’s extremely neat, clean, and well maintained, with a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. Emre, Yousef, and Emre were especially friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay memorable. I had a wonderful experience at Side Hotel Istanbul in Sultanahmet and highly recommend it for comfort, convenience, and service!

Side Hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, which made it easy to explore Istanbul’s historic center. Breakfast had a good variety of options too. From the moment we arrived, the well-trained, incredibly friendly staff gave us a warm welcome. They paid attention to the details and took care of all our needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Our clean triple room had lovely Bosphorus views, and the kind host arranged an affordable airport transfer. The hotel was great and the breakfast was fine. It’s also in an excellent location close to Hagia Sophia.
