Taximtown Hotel

The location is handy, very close to Taxim Square, and both breakfast and Wi-Fi were reasonable. But this felt like a three-star hotel, and the room we were first given was in the basement with a horrible musty smell. The Turkish receptionist treated us badly. Thankfully, the new staff member, Mr. Vahid, helped sort out the room problem and suggested different places to visit. Without his help, we would definitely have changed hotels. In general, I don't think it was worth the money. Many thanks to Mr. Vahid 🌹🙏🏻

My room was dirty, the toilet flush was broken, and the glass sliding doors didn't work properly. One of those doors shattered because of the hotel staff's negligence and injured me, but they charged me a huge penalty fee anyway. They demanded it in an incredibly rude and threatening way, practically forcing me to check out. I would never recommend this awful hotel. Disgusting! Disgusting! Disgusting! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the tasty breakfast. Taximtown Hotel is in a great spot by Taksim Square, near shops, restaurants, and the metro. The spacious lobby and two elevators made getting around easy.

The location was convenient, but I had a miserable stay. The street noise kept me from sleeping, and the air conditioning barely worked. My room was dirty, dated, and smelled awful. I woke up covered in bites from bed bugs. When I raised it with the staff, they brushed me off instead of dealing with it. The hygiene was completely unacceptable. Breakfast was disappointing too, and the service felt rude and indifferent. There are cleaner, better places nearby, so stay somewhere else.
