The reception staff were polite and helpful, and the location was good. Those were the bright spots. We were in Room 105, where the shower was broken when we arrived and only fixed the following day. Black mold covered the shower ceiling, paint was coming off the walls, and the furniture was stained and moldy. The curtains let in the early light, the shutters were broken, and the window felt so fragile I was afraid to close it. The hall carpets were disgusting, and the walls were so thin we could hear the neighbors. Daytime work noise meant no siestas, then neighbors kept us up until 2:30 a.m. and the tram started up by our window at 6:00 a.m. The website photos didn't match what we got. The dining room image, for example, showed windows, but the actual room was dim and in the cellar. Breakfast's one good point was the fresh omelette. We had booked a deluxe room, but were given a lesser one because they said the deluxe rooms were being refurbished. We stayed only because our transfers and pickups had already been booked and paid for at this hotel. As we left, someone else complained about their room, and the receptionist's attitude toward him changed a lot. Would I stay again? Definitely not, ever.

The location was ideal for tourists, and the staff were really nice. We checked out at 11 a.m., but they kept our bags safe for another five hours so we could carry on enjoying our trip. The breakfast selection was great too. Highly recommend it!

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room didn't match what I'd reserved and was very small, with poor lighting. The photos online seemed old and misleading. There was no door on the shower enclosure, so water spilled out whenever anyone showered and left the bathroom slippery afterward.

We went in September 2025, and the location was the highlight. Gulhane tram station is right there, so central places are easy to reach on foot or by tram, especially with the Istanbul card. I'd choose this hotel again on another trip. It's a simple place with the basic things you need, and the breakfasts were delicious. The receptionists were a huge help, especially Emir, who patiently took care of all the many requests we had.

I couldn't last a minute in this place. The room was dirty, had broken fixtures, smelled strongly of chemicals, and had bed bugs. I had children with me and didn't feel it was safe for them. The whole hotel was filthy, and the pretty online photos, including the ones on love holidays, looked nothing like the place I saw. I felt scammed. When I complained, the man at reception refused to check me out, and the staff were rude. This isn't worth even one star to me, I'd give it zero. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else. Avoid it.
