The Lima Suites Kadiköy

The staff were friendly and easy to approach, and housekeeping seemed to come every three days. When they did clean, they were thorough. Most public transport is within a 15-minute walk, and the hotel is in a busy area. But the facilities were in very poor condition, making this one of the most unsettling hotels I've stayed in. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. Another guest smoked in their room, and it came into mine through the drainage pipes. I nearly choked last night, and ended up blocking the bathroom door with towels just to get through it. It was terrifying. I suppose it could suit a smoker.

The welcome was so warm and personal that I'll definitely come back. The manager even offered me a ride on his motorcycle. Staff were incredibly caring, and the price was great for such a good location and service. My room had A/C and was clean, with tea, coffee, water, and sugar, a pleasant surprise for a budget-friendly hotel. Towels, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel were included too. I highly recommend this place.

The room was disgusting, smelly and dirty, with hair all over. We couldn't stay there. The price doesn't match the quality. The smell may have come from holes in the wall that they'd tried to cover up. The one good thing was the receptionist, who was very friendly and tried to help as much as he could.

The location is great, but this wasn't good value even at the discounted price. When we arrived late, the hotel staff weren't ready for us and left us waiting in the street. There was barely room to move around all the furniture, and I kept nearly stubbing my toes. The bathroom flooded when we showered, the toilet smelled constantly, and we never got toilet paper. At 1:30 a.m., staff were cleaning the next room and talking loudly on the phone. When I asked him to keep it down, he seemed surprised that I wanted to sleep on a weekday night.
