Upsuites Hotel

The room was definitely cleaned well, and the cleaning team, front desk, and kitchen staff were all friendly and polite. Breakfast had a big, tasty selection. On morning walks outside the hotel, you’ll see lots of cats, which was a lovely sight. The street is quiet, though a random bike can get loud late at night. Since the hotel isn’t very tall, you might get unlucky with noise if you really need a good night’s sleep.

Mr. Burak was the standout of the stay for me. From the start, he made me feel welcome with genuine care, lovely manners, and a readiness to help. He has a charming, almost chevalier-like way about him, and his professionalism and kindness made the visit memorable. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and tastefully done. The lobby and dining area also felt stylish but cozy. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of local choices to try regional flavors. It wasn’t the most international selection, but the quality and care in the dishes made up for that. A wonderful hotel, and Mr. Burak deserves much of the credit.

We used the hotel for one night before our flight from Istanbul Airport the next day, and it was good value for that purpose. The area isn’t especially bustling, and the walk from Gayrettepe metro station along the highway was unpleasant in the very heavy rain. We arrived late and were greeted warmly. The rooms were clean and nice, with the amenities you’d want, and breakfast was excellent, with everything from sandwiches and jams to Turkish dishes like salads, gözleme, and börek. I’d strongly recommend it.

Tarkan Bey was really helpful, and the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The hotel is near Gayrettepe station. Breakfast was just okay, not especially good. One issue in the room was the shower drain, where water built up easily.
