Scandalous hotel!! They were doing construction when we arrived in the morning and hadn’t warned us beforehand. We went out to see the city, then came back to find a big hole the builders had made behind the mirror in our bedroom. They didn’t even try to find us somewhere else to stay. We had to leave at 7pm and look for another hotel. I don’t recommend it.

For this category, the price and what you get make it excellent value. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Istanbul with everything around you. The staff were polite, professional, and very helpful, doing what they could to assist. Thanks to the overland residence team.

Overland Residence Hotel felt like a home away from home. It’s practical and well designed, with what you need for a comfortable stay, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff were kind and available around the clock. They even helped us track down our lost luggage at the airport, although that wasn’t their responsibility, and I’m especially grateful for that. Taksim Square is a 15-minute walk away, and buses are easy to reach within 3 minutes. There are plenty of supermarkets and bakeries nearby, so it’s easy to get what you need in just a few minutes. I had a wonderful stay during my trip to Turkey and highly recommend Overland Residence Hotel. I believe others will be just as satisfied.

I spent my vacation there last January, and the management staff were one of the best parts of the trip. Mr. Odeh from Iraq and Mr. Hisham from Egypt are dedicated to their work and uphold the principles of hospitality and their duties to the place and its guests. I’m proud to know them. I’ll stay in the same place next time because of them. Many thanks and appreciation to both.
