A nice option for a family, with spacious rooms at reasonable prices. The free mobile hotspot was especially handy for navigating the city. Just be aware that the hotel is in the old part of town, where the cobblestone streets make pushing a baby pram a bit challenging. Sometimes loud cars playing music passed by at night, which was a bit of a nuisance. Still, a great place to stay.

We'd already stayed in top hotels and resorts on a long trip through Miami, Orlando, Washington DC, Atlanta, Geneva and London before reaching Istanbul. Walton hotel was our first stay of its kind, and it ended up being the best of the whole trip. It feels new, with a contemporary look and touches of Turkish art. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and welcoming. They made a point of offering help to make our stay comfortable, and we could reach anyone from the owner to the driver at any time using the free phone the hotel provides. Ayasofya and many other Fatih attractions are an easy walk away, and the hotel also offers free shuttles to them. The team really put their hearts into looking after guests, and the price is competitive too. We'd happily recommend Walton hotel, and it will be our first choice when we return to Istanbul.

That phone they lend you for a personal hotspot came in handy for navigating around Istanbul. We also appreciated the free shuttle to Sultanahmet Square when requested. The rooms were great, and the staff were really friendly. Walton Hotel made our trip even better.

Aisha was the highlight for me. She was so warm, caring and helpful that even if I stayed somewhere else next time, I'd still want to go say hello to her. The room itself was tidy and comfortable, with more facilities than some luxury hotels offer. They provide a handy magic box with maps, travel adapters, a mobile hotspot with internet, and an emergency callback option, WhatsApp and pickup calls. There was also a lovely view from the balcony. I'll definitely stay here on my next Istanbul visit.
