We spent a week in this nice studio in a lively neighborhood, and the Booking pictures matched what we found. The shared rooftop terrace has a nice view, and there’s a lovely bakery downstairs, with cafés and restaurants nearby. The busy shopping street is just up the hill. The kitchen is small but well equipped, and the bathroom is too. Staff were easy to reach on Whatsapp and helped arrange an airport pickup a day ahead. The street right outside can get busy, so light sleepers should bring earplugs.

We arrived to find no towels or shampoo, and the apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly. The replacement towels had someone else’s long hair on them. Cleanliness in general was poor, the water was shut off for hours without proper notice, and a strong sewage smell made the place very uncomfortable. The bathroom window and toilet seat were broken too. The on-site contact seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, while management made no effort to deal with our concerns professionally. We documented everything with photos and messages. Whatever the compensation, we didn’t even get a simple apology. The hosts should seriously rethink their understanding of hospitality. Our stay was very disappointing, and I really wouldn’t recommend it.

The room is small, as expected, but well stocked, and the bathroom is pretty good. I liked the spiral staircase, though I can see it being a challenge with a big suitcase. Check-in was easy, the location is great, and there’s a rooftop. I’d definitely stay again.

The studio was a quiet spot in the heart of Istanbul, perfect for discovering the city center. There are grocery stores and small cafés nearby, and public transport connections are good. The host was kind and quick to respond, and the pictures matched the experience. We had a great stay, and I’ll definitely recommend it.

Yakup was the best manager, bringing us whatever we asked for as quickly as possible. The suite is in an excellent spot, close to dry cleaning, shops, barbers, cafes, and public transport. Easy to book and enjoy, better than some four-star hotels, and worth every euro. Thanks! 🌷
