Washington Hotel

The room for four felt unusually small, and the safe didn't work. The radiators weren't heating because there was air in them that needed releasing, though if you don't know how to do that, don't try it yourself. We were also charged €40 by the manager for five cans of cola and half a liter of beer that were already in the minibar when we arrived. We'd asked at reception beforehand and had been told they were free. The sauna staff were extremely ignorant and unacceptable. The fitness room was under 4 square meters, with two cardio machines and another machine from the 1950s that didn't work at all. The facilities looked nothing like the website photos.

We had no hot water in our room for a whole day, and the dinner for three nights that was included in our Booking reservation, and confirmed beforehand, was never provided. Staff offered no convincing explanation. The hotel's services didn't match what it had told customers to expect. The manager was arrogant, unhelpful, and unpleasant and unprofessional in how he communicated. What we got was completely different from what had been promised. For the price and expectations, the stay was disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn't choose this hotel again or recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service.

Housekeeping cleaned our room every day, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room and hotel were clean. Since we visited during Ramadan, they served suhur instead of breakfast, and it was good and nicely prepared. The location was convenient for transport and about a 15-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar. We had a nice stay and would recommend it.

Getting around was easy, with public transport stops nearby and plenty of places to walk. The hotel was clean and well looked after, and the staff were welcoming, polite, and friendly. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
