Yusufpasa Konagi Hotel

The beds were really comfortable, and the place was clean. The cleaning staff came through the rooms every day. Breakfast was good, and there are plenty of shops, markets, and restaurants just a 2 to 5 minute walk away, along with the main sights. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The main drawback was street noise at night, especially when the communal garbage service came to collect the bins.

For the price, this is a good hotel in a lovely area. Lots of attractions and landmarks are nearby, as are restaurants. The room was nice, and I’d recommend staying here.

The location feels peaceful even though it’s in a tourist area. People aren’t pushy, and you’re close to central Istanbul without being caught up in all the bustle. The room was lovely, though it got hot; the powerful air conditioner sorted that out easily. We booked after our flight was cancelled and plans had to change. Staff welcomed us respectfully and were kind and courteous, and everything else went smoothly. We’d been told there would be fruit and snacks in the room when we arrived, but there weren’t any. Breakfast was decent enough to get the day started, if not amazing. There was fresh bread, spreads, cheeses, boiled and scrambled eggs, cured meats, cereal, juice, tea, and coffee.

The rooms are on the small side, but they’re laid out well and come with what you need, including tea and coffee and good smart TVs. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, though there was enough to get going in the morning. It’s a lovely building and good value, with lots of interesting places within walking distance. The Blue Mosque is about ten minutes away on foot, and there are plenty of restaurants aimed at tourists nearby.
