ibis Styles Izmir Bornova

We had such a good stay. The room was bright, cheerful, tidy, and had a balcony with views of the city on two sides. Nothing spectacular from up there, but still nice. It came with a free tea and coffee maker, bathroom hairdryer, and Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. The mini fridge was stocked, but the contents cost extra, so watch out if you've got kids sneaking snacks like ours did. The hotel and the city were both impeccably clean. Staff were kind and greeted us with smiles, a real taste of Izmir's charm. They even helped with our many suitcases, which was a relief. Breakfast was good quality, though nothing fancy. It's about a 15-minute drive to the city center and attractions, while walking to the beach takes around an hour and a half. Driving into the center can be tricky because parking is limited, so the hotel's free parking was a big help since we had a car. Drinks are served in the lobby too, which gave the place a nice feel. For a 4-star hotel, the price felt like great value, especially beside more expensive beachside options. It suited us as a family, and seems good for couples or groups too if you're after a clean, friendly, budget-friendly place. We left in great spirits and would recommend it to anyone visiting Izmir.
