Kozan City Hotel

“Bad and rude customer service.” I booked online for a room with four beds and arrived with my kids, tired after coming from the airport. There was no electricity or Wi-Fi, and the receptionist wouldn’t give us the key because the booking listed two adults without children. I asked why I would book four beds if only two adults were coming. My daughter was so tired she cried a lot, but the receptionist still wouldn’t let us into the room unless we paid 1500 tl per child. She also said check-in was at 2:00 pm, even though my booking said 12:00 pm. There were too many lies, and it was a very bad experience. I’m waiting for agoda to take action.

The room was dirty and old-fashioned, breakfast was barely edible, and the whole place felt incredibly insecure. The parking area was unsafe and looked like a building site. It smelled terrible, and the staff were so rude they made us uncomfortable. I’ve never been happier to leave somewhere. DO NOT STAY

Breakfast was good, and the room had the basics I needed, including a kettle, tea, coffee, and drinking water. It was kept clean, and the hotel is pretty close to the city center, so it met my expectations. One drawback: the shower isn’t separate from the toilet, so the whole floor gets wet when you bathe. The glasses weren’t always clean either, and I had to wash them again.

The Metro is close by, and that was about the only good part. At check-in, the receptionist was extremely rude when my sister came up briefly to see the room. She lives in a university dorm, was only there for 10 minutes, and I had booked for one person, but he demanded extra money and shouted at us. She left scared and traumatized. The room was filthy, the handle was broken, and the door wouldn’t shut properly. In the washroom, the shower and other parts were faulty. There was no blanket until I asked for one, and it took ages to arrive. Breakfast choices were very limited, and the food smelled odd, almost as if it wasn’t fresh. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If the hotel manager and owner see this, I’m asking for an apology and compensation because the receptionist’s rude, disrespectful behavior left my sister frightened and traumatized.
