Otel OVA

We barely got through one night there because we had no choice. Everything was filthy, from the towels, sink and bed to the pillows, duvet and curtains. The pillow color made the lack of cleanliness obvious against what should've been white. There was dampness and a foul smell everywhere. We paid 1500 TL, or 750 TL each, for a place that wasn't even worth 200 TL. Horrible. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.

A complete disgrace. On Hotels.com they show an available room as prepaid, but when you arrive they say the listed prices are wrong. If you try to pay outside the reservation, they triple the price and say they can take cash and issue an invoice. Stay well away.

The room was listed as non-smoking, but there was a half-full ashtray inside. The damp and cigarette smells were both overpowering. I left without staying, even though I'd paid. The place is falling apart and so damp that even one star feels too generous.

It's clean and fine as a place to sleep, with air-conditioned rooms and a central location. The metro is two minutes away, and there are bus stops nearby. Kültür Park is a four-minute walk, while Konak Beach takes about ten minutes. Just don't expect anything beyond basic accommodation.
