Rolex Hotel

I don't understand how this place averages more than two stars. We booked a room for five, but it had three beds and, at best, a “sleeping couch” for a child. The bathroom was moldy, the toilet sprayed water everywhere except into the bowl, and the AC smelled bad. The room hadn't been cleaned, either. After midnight, we tried to get in, but the receptionist, who seemed intoxicated, kept us waiting several minutes while he apparently enjoyed watching us beg to be let in. We never got internet during the whole stay, despite asking several times. Izmir itself was a nice town, at least. Edit: the owner's response is a straight-up lie. Anyone reading it can decide for themselves whether they trust it enough to book here.

For what I paid, this was really good. My priorities depend on the price, and I found the value here very solid. There was plenty of space, free water, nice staff, flexible check-in, and it was easy to walk to different parts of the city and public transport. I’d recommend it if you want to keep costs down and don’t mind a few imperfections. I’ve shared more details on Airbnb.

Kulturpark and Alsancak are both nearby, so the location is really good. The staff were friendly and nice to us, and I loved sitting in the hotel's garden each evening. It was beautiful. Thanks so much, I absolutely recommend it!

They were very gracious and let us check in early, saying they wanted us to get some rest after arriving so early. The price was really good for what we got.
