Viva La Vita Butik Otel

The owner responded right away when we complained about loud music from the bars and asked them to turn it off. It eventually got quiet around midnight. We were on the first floor facing the street, where we could hear a lot of street noise. The narrow street is lively, and some places underneath stay open past midnight. We only needed a night to rest while passing through Izmir, so this hotel turned out to be a poor choice for that.

As someone from the Netherlands visiting Izmir for the first time, I had a really good stay. The hotel was very clean, the rooms looked good, and it felt safe for tourists. The staff helped us have a good time. I’d recommend it to other travelers.

We knew the rooms were small, and some fittings could use replacing, but neither affected how much we enjoyed our stay. What stood out was the desk staff: they were incredibly welcoming, gave us useful advice, and called local restaurants and shops to make bookings for us. The location and level of service made this hotel a great fit for us. Thanks for all the help, guys.

The 24/7 drinks stand was a nice extra, with lemonade, water, Turkish tea and coffee. The room was clean and comfortable, and having air conditioning was welcome in the summer heat. Staff were friendly and keen to help. I felt unwell on the last day, and they let me check out two hours late and arranged a taxi for us. We also liked the location, close to plenty of good shops and restaurants. Thanks for the stay and the great service.
