Aloanda House

The location worked really well for us: Akmaz beach is very close, and even the beaches farthest away are about half an hour off. Shops, bakeries, restaurants and liquor stores are easy to reach on foot. The road is good, the neighborhood stays quiet, and the front garden is a nice place to sit in a hammock if you use mosquito repellent. The owner was kind and helpful. Inside, though, the house smelled dusty. The curtains and walls seemed not to have been cleaned, the main bedroom's big bed was misshapen, and the kitchen plates and glasses were old and mismatched. There's just one air conditioner for the whole house, with none in the bedrooms. There isn't an oven, apparently because new rules don't allow one. The back garden was messy, and the owner's parents came and went through the shared garden whenever they wanted, so it was hard to get up early or walk around comfortably. The toilet is old too.
