Silver Pine Hotel

We came as a family for a short stay, one night and a day, at the start of September. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the food was yummy. We had a nice time and would definitely come back if we plan another trip there.

Ayhan, Zehra, and Batuhan were the one bright spot. They were attentive, and I thank them for everything. The rest of our second visit was a disaster, especially after such a good first stay that made us want to return. We told the hotel on arrival that the food was terrible and we were still hungry, but for four days it was the same rotation of fries, pasta, and turkey. Breakfast was awful too. Our room was poorly cleaned, and there was a ball of hair in the shower. We practically had to force them to deal with it. Other guests and women at the pool were also saying everything was bad. When we raised it with the manager, he still acted as if he was in the right. We won't be back or recommend the place.

Batuhan was very kind, but I wasn't happy with Sıla. I asked her for water at the bar. Even though they had some, she told me to get it from across the street. They don't serve water after 22:00 either. The bar shuts at that time, so you can't even get a decent tea. The pool is only open from 10:00 to 18:30, which was frustrating when we wanted to swim at night. Dinner was okay, but Turkish coffee cost 20 TL. We were four people staying for a week, and the 11,000 TL felt completely wasted. The location is awful, about half an hour from Fethiye center and far from everywhere. The road was so tiring we couldn't even rest. The rooms were old, dusty, and unclean, and we brought our own sheets to sleep on. There wasn't even water in the rooms. Breakfast was the same every day and made us feel sick. The pools were filthy. Don't go, find somewhere decent instead.

The open buffet breakfast and meals were very good, especially the olive oil dishes. My thanks to the chef. The owners are good people, but some things have changed since our honeymoon stay here ten years ago, when we were satisfied. I don't know whether the owners are the same now. Some other guests who had visited before felt the atmosphere had changed too. It no longer seemed to have the same conservative hotel identity, and there are no activities. I'd think of it more as a guesthouse. The rooms have several problems: some bathrooms have no shower cabin, so you shower in the middle of the bathroom facing the toilet. Some wardrobes don't work, and there was no water in the rooms. Wi-Fi didn't work, mosquitoes were everywhere, and there was no pest control. Cleanliness was average, with hygiene a concern. It's not too far from Fethiye center, but getting to Ölüdeniz takes about 1.5 hours with traffic, so traffic is something to consider.
