Kartepe Park Hotel

The big garden was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, too. But the rooms were a total disappointment: the ones shown online aren’t the standard rooms you get at the hotel. The property needs serious renovation, with walls to repaint, carpets to remove and replace, and bathrooms that need a touch-up.

There’s plenty to do for families and friends, whether you have kids or not, and people of all ages can find activities. The views stay green on the way up, and summer weather is lovely. Winter is a different story. It’s an amazing, romantic place, with lots of action and adventure.

Breakfast was served at the table and was good, and the woman serving did her best to make us happy. The rooms were small but fairly clean, though ours wasn’t cleaned even after we’d been out most of the day and left a clear sign asking for service. The pool was empty and closed. The hotel seems old and short staffed. It costs less than other places in the area, but I don’t want to stay here again.

We spent a productive couple of days here at a writing camp. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was just as good.
