Hotel Sonne - Adults Only

We stayed three nights on our recent trip to Kas. The terrace was the highlight, with world-class views, and the staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is well placed, close to the main tourist spots and restaurants without being right in the middle of them. If we come back to town, I’ll stay here again.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and gave us useful tips on tours and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, and the top-floor view is unbeatable. They also provide bath towels, floaties, and snacks. Our economy room on the ground floor was small, but manageable, clean, well stocked, and great value. I was a little worried by the room reviews, but we had nothing to worry about. Parking is difficult, though apparently that’s an issue wherever you stay. We loved Kas and would come back here if we return. Thank you!

The hotel and rooms smelled really good and were super clean, and check-in went smoothly. The front desk guy was very friendly. Breakfast comes with a nice view of the Mediterranean Sea, though they only offer hard-boiled eggs. Different eggs cost at least 200liras. The rooms are tiny, and the bed is very firm, but everything else was perfect for us. There’s no elevator, so you have to use the stairs to enter the hotel and get to every room. I’d only recommend staying here if you don’t have a disability.

We were greeted and looked after like family at Hotel Sonne, and everything is within walking distance, from restaurants and shops to beach clubs and the ruins. The breakfast was outstanding, the best meal we had in Turkey, and our room was nice. We also appreciated being able to use the beach towels and snorkel equipment for our cruise one day. Ask them for recommendations. They reserved a parking spot for our car out front. There’s no elevator, but if you have mobility issues, you can ask for a lower floor. Highly recommend.
