The Kayseri Loft Hotel

Being allowed to check in early was a big help, since we could rest before our skiing lessons. The location worked well for us too, with good restaurants about a 10-minute drive away, and parking was easy to access and felt secure. Staff were welcoming and professional. The buffet breakfast had a decent range, and the pool and sauna were clean, although the pool was small and not very warm. The bedding really let the room down. The linens had visible holes, the top of the mattress kept sliding off, and the pillows weren't comfortable. The room was too warm, and there was no remote to adjust the temperature. Dinner choices were very basic, and nobody asked about allergies or other dietary needs. We also noticed cigarette smoke in the dining area despite the prominent no-smoking signs, so we didn't want to eat there again. We stayed at The Kayseri Loft Hotel while traveling from Ankara. The convenient location and accommodating staff were positives, but the bedding, temperature control, and dining issues affected the stay a lot. I'd give it 3 stars.

The hotel is clean, well maintained, and right in the city center. Rooms were spacious, the food was good, and the staff were attentive and helpful. We came as a group, but unfortunately the sauna and spa weren't operating. It's also somewhat far from Cappadocia, which affected our balloon flights.

The pool and hamam were closed, and the hallways were very dark and smelled of smoke. My room felt old, with dust on a lot of the furniture, and cold water dripped from the ceiling above me while I was showering. The staff helped call taxis, but spoke little English. It was confusing trying to ask reception for more toilet paper. The hotel was close to the venue I needed, but far from restaurants and shops, so the location wasn't as convenient as I'd hoped.

Clean, safe, and friendly. I had a very good stay and highly recommend this hotel.
