The food is perfectly edible, and you get free food and drink. The rooms aren’t modern, but the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is clean, and there isn’t loud music outside your room all night. For an all-inclusive stay without spending a fortune, I think it’s worth it. It’s fine as a base if you want nice people and decent value. If you’re after five-star standards, choose somewhere else.

The staff were polite and pleasant to talk to, and there was a cute dog at reception. We stayed for about a week, though quite a few things could be better. Parrots in the yard screamed loudly all day, even early in the morning. The shower pressure was very weak, and getting the temperature right was difficult. We also saw a cockroach. The blankets were old and small, and our room wasn’t cleaned or given fresh towels during the week. Breakfast was simple and repetitive. At the end of March it wasn’t a buffet; we were all given roughly the same set of food each day.

Worst hotel experience I’ve had. I left two leather jackets in the room, and they were gone. The cleaners took them, then were rude and accused me of lying about it. They don’t seem to care about the theft. Absolutely not recommended.
