Hotel Ugur

The food was delicious, with lots of fresh greens, and a different soup each day. There wasn't much meat, mostly chicken, but they put care into the meals and everything tasted great. The beach was clean, sunbeds were always available, and the views were incredible. Staff were friendly, and the owner was on-site and ready to answer questions or help. My sister's birthday was a particularly touching moment. The staff felt bad that they hadn't known ahead of time to prepare a cake, then surprised us by decorating our bed beautifully. The housekeeping team had clearly put their hearts into it. I was so moved I cried, and we were very grateful. My sister and I had travelled a long way, three days to get there, and I had even flown from America. We picked this budget option expecting it might be bad, but it turned out to be amazing. We were welcomed warmly and checked in at 10 in the morning, even though the official time was 2 pm. The room was small and a little dark, but we barely spent time there. The mattress was so good I'd give it 200 out of 100. They should bring mattresses like that to America. The Turks know how to make a good bed! It's quiet and peaceful, a good fit for families or anyone who wants to relax. If you don't plan to spend much time in your room, this is just what you need. Highly recommended.

The beach had a great view and clean sea, and its location was the best thing about it. We came from Ugur hotel beach, which is actually owned by another hotel. The attendant made the atmosphere tense by shouting, screaming, and blaming people over things like bringing drinks from a supermarket or hotel, not buying his corn, or moving sunbeds wherever we wanted even when we put them back in order. The beach itself was fine, but for a relaxing, welcoming visit, I'd choose somewhere else.

The pool and private beach were a plus, and the staff were polite and nice. The bus station was closed, but it was still only a 15-20 minute walk to the center of Kemer. My room was small but clean, and although most facilities were old, that didn't bother me. I stayed four nights and nobody cleaned the room, though I suppose I should have asked. I kept it clean myself. Breakfast was good for what I paid, and I was satisfied with the stay. The hotel itself is quiet, though nearby hotels can be noisy at night.

The manager stepped in quickly when we had a small issue with the staff, and sorted it out. Everyone was welcoming and professional, and their prompt help made our beach day a great one. Their service really made the visit special.
