The location worked well, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again. The reception, lobby, and dining area were all uncomfortably hot, and the lobby bar wasn't operating, leaving the pool bar as the only option. Our room was clean and decent, though housekeeping was poor, and items went missing from our minibar several times. I reported it at reception, but nothing came of it. Most guests and entertainers seemed to be Russian or Ukrainian.

We had a lovely stay at this beachfront hotel. I came with a friend and my seven-month-old, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. If an unusual problem comes up, though, be prepared to use Russian, since the staff understand and speak very little English. I'd happily book here again.

The staff made the stay especially nice. They were warm, helpful, and remembered both our names and preferences. The beach was kept clean, there were always enough loungers, and the Wi-Fi reached it too. My room's view was fine for me since I wasn't in there much, though the hotel sits side-on to the sea, so you don't get a sea or mountain view. That position also kept me away from the music playing each evening. I was happy with the experience and would recommend the hotel.

The best thing here is the spot near the beach, though the beach itself is very small. Turkish pita tasted good, and the food was otherwise okay. But staff were rude, and nobody spoke English. The entertainers were Russian too, so it felt like a place for Russian guests only. I wouldn't recommend it for families, perhaps more for people aged 65 and up.

We had a pleasant short week at Bona Dea. The staff were really friendly, and the location suited us. Some parts could use renovation or other improvements, but the price was fair. We'd come back. Thanks to the Bona Dea team!
