We liked the authentic atmosphere, and thank you very much. The beds were a bit small, and we didn't use the pillows because we didn't sleep. There was no shower cabin in the bathroom, and the straps were broken. Breakfast was ordinary and could be better.

We spent two weeks here with our family in April 2022, in the largest family room. The old Syrian house style and courtyard, or housh, were lovely. Breakfast was served in the courtyard each day, and the extra grand breakfast, serpme, was very nice. Service was quick, and the staff were genuinely friendly. There were quite a few things that need attention. The place was dusty, the floor needed more frequent vacuuming and mopping, and the rugs needed steam cleaning. The stairs in the 1.5 story family room were too deep and felt dangerous, we fell twice, and they need a railing. Toilet smells lingered, so better air circulation, maybe an exhaust fan, would help. The flush was very noisy. Sound-proofing on the doors and windows would keep noise from coming in and going out. Hot water took a few minutes to come through, and music played too loudly until late. The room had a kettle and coffee, but no glass cups.

Breakfast was made by hanum efende (Leyla), who deserves special thanks. Saltuk Bey Mansion Boutique Otel is a beautiful place.

The manager and staff were friendly, and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It's a traditional building arranged around an open square. Breakfast was below average by Turkish breakfast standards. I booked one night with breakfast online for 24 USD. A good hotel in Kilis City.
