Aziziye Otel

We liked our stay so much that we extended the trip, and the owner was very accommodating. I'd definitely come back. There's a peaceful feel to the hotel, and we felt safe as women. I could happily spend all day in the sunny room looking out at Aziziye Mosque. The views were lovely from both of the rooms we booked. One looked toward the Mosque and the mountains, with a beautiful sunset each evening. The other faced the Mosque and town square. Mevlana Museum is less than a four-minute walk away, and the other sights are nearby too. Taxis are just around the corner. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help. The service was the best I've had anywhere in Turkiye. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have the basics covered: fresh linens and towels, clean bathrooms, a TV, and air conditioning if you want it. The large windows let in a nice, cool breeze at night. The laundry was excellent too, with our clothes returned spotless and perfectly ironed. Breakfast was nice, and the morning coffee was delicious. It's also very affordable, and don't be fooled by the facade, the hotel is huge inside.

The owner and his family are very kind, and you can get tea from the lobby any time. The location is very good, with a beautiful view from the window. The room was fine, with clean sheets, but nothing special. Laundry is available for 8 TL per piece.

The location is perfect, and the price is fair. Staff are really friendly, and breakfast is good. Unlimited tea is a nice deal too. From one side you get a lovely view of Aziziye mosque. Rooms on the other side look out on local late-night parties, with cigarettes.

We paid 55 TL for the cheapest room without breakfast, or 65 with a very basic breakfast. Everything is within walking distance, and the hotel is inside a restored market in a really nice district. The room was clean, the water hot, and the wifi strong. Reception staff were extremely nice. It's a busy tourist area, so there was a bit of street noise, but I have nothing else to complain about.
