Bera Konya Hotel

We had a fantastic family vacation here with our three kids. The location suited everything we wanted to do, and the staff were friendly and incredibly responsive. Our room was clean, and we had a great stay. We’d happily come back.

We’re staying at the hotel and came to the restaurant for my daughter’s birthday dinner. The food was delicious, and the restaurant looks beautiful. The staff were amazing and aware of gluten, which was a huge help for my wife, who has a severe gluten allergy. Alp and Sezai were especially attentive and helpful, and their service was exceptional. Better than most restaurants we’ve visited. I highly recommend it.

Bera is a nice option if you need to stay in Konya, but right now it probably costs as much as, or even more than, a hotel in Las Vegas. I used to stay there once a year when I came back from overseas, to rest before seeing my family. In the early pandemic it was around $20 a night. Since 2022, everything in Turkiye has become unreasonably expensive, so I had to stop staying in hotels there.

The location is amazing, with lots of shops right in front of the hotel and a mall not far away. I had a good view from my room on the 9th floor, room 1906. Breakfast was really good, and they didn’t rush us or kick us out if we went past the time. The cleaning was the best I’ve ever seen, from the floors to the doors. Every morning when we left, the cleaning lady came and did a thorough job. Service was 10/10. I was picky about a lot of things, and they did whatever I asked. They don’t change the price based on skin colour, whether you’re a tourist or Turkish. A perfect week, 10/10.
