Cinar Otel

We’ve just arrived at Meva Hotel Konya and are already very disappointed. Although we booked a twin room, the bed provided was advertised as a queen but was far too small even for one person, nowhere near the usual 152cm x 203cm (60in x 80in) size. The receptionist and manager wouldn’t help us change rooms. Customer service was no use either: they didn’t resolve anything, wouldn’t cancel the booking, and refused a refund. We intend to file a formal complaint and take legal action over what we see as misleading, unprofessional conduct. Avoid this hotel.

Really clean hotel and great service. I’d happily recommend it.

Our family room had a city view of Rumi's Mosque and the Sultan Selim Mosque, and we were very happy with the stay at Meva Otel. Breakfast was included and delicious. Everyone was helpful with our needs, especially the receptionist, and the service was excellent. It’s right in central Konya, so I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the city.

The rooms are on the small side, but clean, and the bathrooms have decent space. The staff are very accommodating, though communicating in English is part of the experience 🙂. The hotel itself is small and clean, right across from the Mewlana Rumi museum and the Yavuz Selim Cami. Tourist sights, bazaars, restaurants, food spots, and Turkey’s famous tea houses are all nearby.
