The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, and the staff treated us very well. Since we were colleagues, we got a good discount. It's conveniently close to the tram, Selçuk University, and Japanese Park.

We only spent about 30 minutes in the room before deciding to leave and take a bus through the night rather than sleep there. We'd booked it at the last minute through another hotel after a booking issue, hoping for a short overnight stay near the bus station before our morning bus. The room looked okay when made up, but smelled bad and was filthy when we looked closer. There was hair from previous guests on all the bedding and pillows, the towels were damp, and the bathroom was dirty. There was no soundproofing, and we could hear conversations at the other end of the floor. Can at the desk was a nice man and called a taxi for us.

Cigarette smoke smell was everywhere in the hotel, and it made the stay quite unpleasant. It affected the whole experience, so I can't recommend this place to others.

I wasn't expecting much given the reviews and price, and even the sign was missing a lot of lettering. For about 300 lira, the tiny room was okay for what we paid, but the staff were so grumpy. It didn't feel like a hotel, more like a homeless shelter or hospital or something. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
